Winnie Orodi is an experienced clinical psychologist dedicated to addressing a wide range of mental health challenges, including domestic violence, adverse childhood experiences, substance use disorders, mood disorders, identity issues, and collective/historical trauma. With a strong passion for positive youth development, she has actively engaged in community work aimed at promoting mental well-being, agency, and creativity among preteens and teenagers.

Orodi’s commitment to community healing is evident through her involvement in storytelling initiatives that foster resilience and healing. Notably, she co-authored the Muamko Mpya psychosocial support manual for the National Police in Kenya, highlighting her expertise in trauma-informed care and psychosocial support interventions.

Currently serving as the head of curriculum development at New Dawn Kenya, Orodi plays a key role in developing resources that prioritize cultural sensitivity and inclusivity. Her dedication to creating manuals for teen facilitators ensures that mental health support services are accessible to children with disabilities and other marginalized groups.

Orodi’s multidisciplinary approach to psychology encompasses advocacy, education, and clinical practice, making her a respected leader in the field.
